Put the motor back in and zip tied the assy along with some sealer on the plastic rivets. There is a hole right below the yellow connector that the rod needs to sit in. Push in on the clip near the bottom of the door using a screwdriver to release it. Remove plugs start by removing the grid covered elbow vent beneath the exposed part of the door latch.

Unplug the harness from the mechanism and use a screwdriver to push out the clips holding the actuator to the mechanism. Spray the lubricant i used pb blaster as in the picture to lubricate the latch mechanisms.
